Goodbye Summer Fling

Photos by: KJ Villanueva

Scorching heat, grain of sand, burst of colors, sprout of flowers, glee emotions, relaxing waves of the ocean, name it. Summer connotes everything. And by everything, it also meant being bittersweet. Summer as we know is the most blissful yet the shortest season we could encounter annually. Yet it promises you a packful of memories you surely won’t wanna miss.

But would you still risk experiencing everything despite the shortest period it could give? Would you still accept what you think you deserve even if you know that something will never last?

Enough before I put this all down to tears, I wore this outfit obviously at the last day of our summer class. Backlogs again, I knew. *scold me now

I know I should’ve blogged this three months ago but still I’m bidding goodbye and leaving everything that happened last summer.
Thank you summer, you are well spent, both happy and not.
Cheers to a new start!

Sweet Summer Soiree

Gail of YourLivingMannequin and Lesly of Thriftluster

This is so funny. Haha!

As the saying goes, better late than never would probably best describe this post. As the title said, this was taken last summer and now's July already!
So pardon me for being tardy.

Much away with the apologies, me and some of my co-bloggers were invited at such a sweet event like this at Tea Amo.

I'm no food blogger but I certainly love blogging food! Should I say, Imma shift to another niche? Kidding! It's not because of the thought that I might get fat, but because I think I will not be able to maintain it so I'm sticking to fashion!

To be honest, I am originally not a fan of this
but eversince this started to trend, I tried it and oh, its taste definitely caught my taste buds! And what I love about Tea Amo is their cozy and cute interiors plus their oh-so-yummy menu including the red velvet drink, salted caramel and mint choc cupcake. These three were of the unique and the first (that I know) here in Davao!

So visit Tea Amo and feed your sweet cravings!
Ciao!

Schoolchild

This was one of my favorite looks. It may not be as fashionable compared to some of my looks or even some of the fashion bloggers, but at least I loved every bit of it:
One determinant that I'm in loved with a certain shoot is first, the photo quality. I'm very strict in tolerance for HD photos so there's a huge pressure for my photographer always. Hahaha!
Sorry Gab! Second, of course the outfit itself including my hair! And I undoubtedly love it when my hair is perfectly curled. Take note of the emphasis. Because to be honest, I am willing to repeat a shoot if my hair isn't cooperating. Sorry for being a stickler.
but hey, that's me. You can have your own standards too.

Pardon me if I have used my lead to introduce my standards. Hahaha! Anyway, don't you just love the scenery? I only took a few shots though but I felt like I'm in Canada with these trees!
Sorry. I'm just overwhelming myself! I admit, I really loved if the Philippines would have miniskirt uniforms like in Japan. But in a lighter view, this was my idea of a schoolchild.
I know I'll look like a cosplayer or I'll be pretty crazy if I'll be really wearing those Japanese uniforms inside Ateneo campus so this was my take - just added lace socks and voila!

Choco Mint

Photos by: Gab Cadena

This is just a quick post on what I wore during the Summer Photo Fun Day held last April 25.
Happy that I finally met in person some of Davao bloggers
especially fashion enthusiasts.

The day was scorching hot and you can't blame me wearing this for I never expect
that the sun will be showing off that hard. And besides,
this is not what I wore at the shoot itself! Haha

To tell you honestly, this was the first outfit I've ever thought
when planning for my 34-day summer class outfits.
I just bought these wedges from Primadonna (originally white in color)
and repainted it in Teal because of crushin' over that already
sold out teal floral wedges at So! Fab
Indeed, Cham can do everything.
Disclaimer: This is an overstatement. Haha
So when I saw these floral wedges at Primadonna, I checked the fabric
and confirmed that it's paint friendly.

As you noticed, I've been abusing my cardigans and use it as tops instead.
Why? To double its purpose. In addition, it looks cute too!

Now isn't my look seems flavorful?
Mint and chocolate was its inspiration,
just right for summer: the pastels and the florals. So breezy!

Cardigan: KCC
Trousers: Davcon Bazaar
Floral Wedges: Primadonna

Ciao!
