Peek a color

I wanted something decent to post before my birthday so I made it sure I will post my recent favorites and this obviously counts.

I liked how the cut in my maxi dress peeps and adds overall sophistication for the whole look. And of course, to add a little quirkiness and lessen maturity, I paired it with my orange polka collared cropped top that I made over a year ago.

Dress: Thrifted
Cropped top: Handmade

I hoped you like it and I apologize for my short post since I'm too busy for school I can't update often. Many would ask what I do and apparently I would answer only one word: EVENTS

I'll plug another event for this month brought to you by Red Republic Productions:

FOTO MODELO ATENEO 3

Witness the glitz and glam of this annual fashion event of Ateneo de Davao University and experience the beauty and talent showcased by Ateneans. If you're from Davao, come and join us this Friday, September 7 at Addu Matina Campus Sports Complex, 7pm.
Wear semi-formal. If you're a non-Atenean, you may need to bring your ID.

This event is a fund raiser for the benefit of Talikala Inc (an organization that helps the retired prostituted women) and San Agustin Elementary school in Samal.
For only Php80, you will not just enjoy the show, but you can also help the women in Talikala and the kids in Samal.

Buy your tickets from me, now!
You can follow Foto Modelo Ateneo 3 on Twitter and Facebook.

Grungy doll

Everyone is permitted to have the impression that he's my boyfriend because I will definitely agree! I mean, in the most bizarre sense *wink

No wonder he's the most brilliant photog, bestfriend, brother, sister, husband, wife, sleepovermate, classmate and fashion twin I will ever cherish.
Introducing, Mr. Ralston San Pedro, the one that doesn't lemme know his blog url. Haha
Sorry twin, but I guess the focus on the photos was always meant for me. What did you do? Haha

Much away with the introductions, unto my outfit.
I wanna celebrate being "me" during the last washday of being 18. Lol
and I turned 19 last September 6 and this only proves that this blogpost was almost two months late! Pardon.

I tried to get away with my fashion adventure for once and went back to being "Cham" again and that being me never forget to embody ribbon, pink, laces or anything girly and doll-ish. For the first time in school I wore this dress I bought from one of my favorite clothing brand, Genevieve Gozum. This dress was indeed reserved for special days like this! Clap clap.

To create contrary and tension, I topped it off by wearing my grungy denim vest with my metal necklace. Those additional pieces indeed made my whole look surprising and with a twist. What do you think?

Dress: Genevieve Gozum
Leopard Oxfords: Wade
Metal Necklace: TLB
Vest: DIY

See you around on the first day of school!
Ciao!

Carefree

Photos by: Ralz San Pedro

Why always search for reasons to dress up when you can do it everyday you wanted? But this time, it's something special. Who would not style get stylish when the birthday celebrant would be Ralston San Pedro?

To everyone who had no idea about this person yet, he is my fashion twin and one day, you'll gonna see his blog like mine. Watch out for that!

Anyway, unto my outfit. Everyone knew I'm always dressing up like a doll. However as this blog says, I can prove to you that I can really do everything!
Trying to pull up a bohemian outfit maybe hard, but at least I've experimenting.

And this is how I perceived Boho, free and comfortable styling.
It seems like I'm heading to the beach, eh?

Top: Thrifted
Maxi skirt: Handsewn
Flats: Jessica
Fringe necklace: SM Accessories
Feather earrings: TLB

Bestfriend turns legal

For more than four years of being together, there were boys and epic heartbreaks,
pre-graduation jitters, post-graduation life bombs and a sudden fear of the future.
Horrible college proffessors and new dreams.
The realer life got, the harder our roots clung on to all that we knew to be constant.
All I can say is, I hope this year, she will learn to be even braver.
And though the climb is far from over, I just want her to know how impressed I am by her courage.
I know that we are slowly running out of time. There is that looming inevitability of things changing greatly.
The possibility of you living abroad. Or me getting married.
Who knows? Maybe the latter will precede the former? And so my greatest hope,
while you are still here and while I am still single, is that
we will not cease to go on adventures — even if  our definition of adventures is lazy afternoons :)
I am so grateful to have Jofelle as a friend.
In another life we probably would have been soulmates but this time around we are lucky enough to be best friends.
Spending time together is as easy as breathing. We have been known on the not-so-odd occasion to spend entire days together and think nothing of it.
Tonight is her most special night and mine as well.
Of all the debuts I have attended, I can say that here, I really exerted effort from my outfit
to my surprise number and lastly, my personalized gift.
*I had a hard time managing the light, so sorry if it's not that good.

And before this could stretch on and on and on,
until the world gets sick of us both, let me end with two things:
First is to let you know that there is more to tell you in person than here.
Second is I will love you always, I mean ALL WAYS. Happy birthday again!

Gemma's gift, since my bestfriend was a die hard singer. Hahahahaha!

Me talking to my bestfriend's mom, asking if they were more guests to come.

Me and Thea

And here comes the princess of the night, my bestfriend. Meet Jofelle.

We were so chismosa. Hahaha!

Caught in the act getting nervous :)))))

Reading my not-so-prepared speech

As the last one to talk, I have to light up the mother candle

This song is for you...

Me and my own escort! Hahaha!

High school friends: Thea, Jofelle and Me

Who could ever live alone anyway?
We always seek someone to be with us not only through jeopardy times but melancholic times as well.
I supposed everyone of us has a bestfriend, or a girlfriend/boyfriend or a group of friends of some sort.
Anyhow, everyone needs a shoulder to lean on and a smile that laughs with us through glee times.
For me, I have my bestfriend with me, Jofelle.
Call me crazy but I never failed to call her name while I'm crying when I'm sad or even desperate.

One who satisfies me and feeds me with unconditional love.
In return, I did this for her. It's not a thing I always do every day so I find it special
to really exert some effort.

You, in your part, what can you do to make your bestfriend's birthday EXTRA special?

Ciao!
