Girl and Grunge

Photos by: Ralz San Pedro

Each one of us have big dream. And we’re working our ass off just to achieve these goals. But for some unexplainable reasons, I dreamed of becoming a personal assistant just at least once in my life.

Am I born of being a slave or what? Nah. I just don’t know.
Being hired as a personal assistant or a production assistant had been in my bucket list before I die.

To those who wanna know, a production assistant is someone who is being commanded in a production team to accomplish tasks. In tagalog, utus-utusan – in the field of Media. In my case, in the backstage.

I’ve been a stage friend since forever and it satisfies me whenever I’m witnessing a successful show or event and me as being part of it (looks like I’m born to be a Masscom at heart). This is the reason why I started a looooong intro in this post because this was what I wore when my friend modelled a fashion show and I volunteered to be her PA. I enjoyed rushing into the backstage busy preparing her, styling her, fixing her clothes and keeping her personal belongings.

By doing so, I must wear a comfortable outfit that will indeed make sure to enable me to freely move because I’ll be very busy big time.
As a fashion blogger, comfort is nothing without style so never forget to still be in style while things get a little chaotic.

Ribbon Grunge

Photos by: Ralz San Pedro

How could one possibly merge grunge and sweet in one outfit? Well, consider myself as a risk-taker for that.

I enjoy trying out different styles without sacrificing my own and this is just one of those.
Tip: By using monochromes and girly elements

For shoots like these, my photog will always allow himself to reach the extremes. He always makes sure to choreo my poses.

Grungy doll

Everyone is permitted to have the impression that he's my boyfriend because I will definitely agree! I mean, in the most bizarre sense *wink

No wonder he's the most brilliant photog, bestfriend, brother, sister, husband, wife, sleepovermate, classmate and fashion twin I will ever cherish.
Introducing, Mr. Ralston San Pedro, the one that doesn't lemme know his blog url. Haha
Sorry twin, but I guess the focus on the photos was always meant for me. What did you do? Haha

Much away with the introductions, unto my outfit.
I wanna celebrate being "me" during the last washday of being 18. Lol
and I turned 19 last September 6 and this only proves that this blogpost was almost two months late! Pardon.

I tried to get away with my fashion adventure for once and went back to being "Cham" again and that being me never forget to embody ribbon, pink, laces or anything girly and doll-ish. For the first time in school I wore this dress I bought from one of my favorite clothing brand, Genevieve Gozum. This dress was indeed reserved for special days like this! Clap clap.

To create contrary and tension, I topped it off by wearing my grungy denim vest with my metal necklace. Those additional pieces indeed made my whole look surprising and with a twist. What do you think?

Metal Necklace: TLB
Vest: DIY

See you around on the first day of school!

Teenage Witch

This was the worst Saturday that happened this year, knowing the one you love already loved someone else and that clueless feeling of knowing nothing on what to do, how to react and eventually realizing you're becoming powerless to resist and just chose nothing but just to accept that hey, he doesn't like me anymore.

That's part of life, eh?
Pardon the drama. Blame the outfit for making me remember everything.

Much away with the emotions, unto my outfit!
Another comfortable Saturday wearing my (oh this maxi dress from him)
extra comfortable clothes!

Err, this distracts me from blogging. It seemed like it perfectly reminisced everything in just one post. Hahaha

This comfy Saturday turned into something evil when Mau (my classmate) lend me her fierce purple lip liner from Nyx and it definitely made my look extra evil!

Polo: Bazaar
Maxi Dress: gift
Sandals: Thrifted

If only, I can have him back. I wish I could.
Ciao!

Schoolchild

This was one of my favorite looks. It may not be as fashionable compared to some of my looks or even some of the fashion bloggers, but at least I loved every bit of it:
One determinant that I'm in loved with a certain shoot is first, the photo quality. I'm very strict in tolerance for HD photos so there's a huge pressure for my photographer always. Hahaha!
Sorry Gab! Second, of course the outfit itself including my hair! And I undoubtedly love it when my hair is perfectly curled. Take note of the emphasis. Because to be honest, I am willing to repeat a shoot if my hair isn't cooperating. Sorry for being a stickler.
but hey, that's me. You can have your own standards too.

Pardon me if I have used my lead to introduce my standards. Hahaha! Anyway, don't you just love the scenery? I only took a few shots though but I felt like I'm in Canada with these trees!
Sorry. I'm just overwhelming myself! I admit, I really loved if the Philippines would have miniskirt uniforms like in Japan. But in a lighter view, this was my idea of a schoolchild.
I know I'll look like a cosplayer or I'll be pretty crazy if I'll be really wearing those Japanese uniforms inside Ateneo campus so this was my take - just added lace socks and voila!
