Peek a color

I wanted something decent to post before my birthday so I made it sure I will post my recent favorites and this obviously counts.

I liked how the cut in my maxi dress peeps and adds overall sophistication for the whole look. And of course, to add a little quirkiness and lessen maturity, I paired it with my orange polka collared cropped top that I made over a year ago.

Dress: Thrifted
Cropped top: Handmade

I hoped you like it and I apologize for my short post since I'm too busy for school I can't update often. Many would ask what I do and apparently I would answer only one word: EVENTS

I'll plug another event for this month brought to you by Red Republic Productions:

FOTO MODELO ATENEO 3

Witness the glitz and glam of this annual fashion event of Ateneo de Davao University and experience the beauty and talent showcased by Ateneans. If you're from Davao, come and join us this Friday, September 7 at Addu Matina Campus Sports Complex, 7pm.
Wear semi-formal. If you're a non-Atenean, you may need to bring your ID.

This event is a fund raiser for the benefit of Talikala Inc (an organization that helps the retired prostituted women) and San Agustin Elementary school in Samal.
For only Php80, you will not just enjoy the show, but you can also help the women in Talikala and the kids in Samal.

Buy your tickets from me, now!
You can follow Foto Modelo Ateneo 3 on Twitter and Facebook.

Paisley comfort

Photos by: Gab Cadena

Like I said in my previous post, maxis never fail to provide comfort. You can try it for yourself. You would thank me gazillion times proving you that you can actually wear something yet feeling light, soft and comfy.

This time, let’s pause the boho madness and try out some patterns that maxis would actually work. For this, paisley did.

The rich and dark tones of the prints were tenderly toned down by the white see-through blazer and oops sorry I wore slippers inside the campus. See the perks of wearing extra long skirts? *wink

Maxi: Gift
Blazer: Thrifted
Slippers: Havaianas

Boho Vibe

Photos by: Alani Ramas

Cheers to another trying hard outfit. Loljk

My friends would always envy me every time I wear maxis. It’s like saying, “Hey, I needed that comfort too.” Every time they notice me wearing like these, they imagine sands and water in their head given that this is too airy and light to wear.

Is it only me or it’s just maxis that often provide a hint of Bohemian? It’s too carefree not to be laid back.

The Walking Recessionista

Hey, it's me Cheyser! (Minus the face and the hair, just the clothes.)

So much for the impossible thoughts,
have you ever heard or even met this Davao's fashion icon?
I'm pretty sure most of you already do.
So obviously, my peg for today's Washday? The Walking Recessionista.

I finally realized how to be a "Cheyser" by wearing these kind of clothes.
Ah, so carefree and relaxed like you don't care about the world, like you've never planned what to wear.
No tricky di-keri outfits. Just plain comfort, and ignore the world.

Now this is the Cheyser-ish feeling
Feel it? :)

As we all knew and notice, if there would be a thing
always paired with Cheyser, that would be Dreamcatchers.

And dreamcatcher earrings :)

Top: Flipfold
Dreamcatcher belted skirt: Thrifted
Thongs: Local store
Bag: Thrifted
Dreamcatcher earrings: Broadway Gems

So you, what's your peg this Washday?
Ciao!

Maxi Candy

This is one of the most special Washdays I ever had. I often exert effort every Wednesday but this time,
say it. I've done EXTRA effort. Or gahot in bisaya. Wanna ask me why? We'll it's my planned date to be finally double.
(Not single! Hahaha I hope you get it!)

I have planned this day way back months ago and decided to wear
skirt or dress but I don't have something in mind on what pieces to wear yet
until I finally decided to try color blocking!
My peg was to look something fresh, sweet, young and free, colorful and vibrant
and using candy and neon colors will indeed willing to cooperate.

Gab tries to achieve the cloud shot and forget about me

I can't really believe my classmates saying I looked like Cheyser Pedregosa when I got my back turned

Peter Pan collared tops adds to the preppiness and the sweetness of the outfit.

How I wish I could achieve this kind of curls everyday without exerting any effort.

Like others, I don't wear heels all day!
:)

Peter Pan collared top: 168 Mall Divisoria
Maxi Skirt: Handsewn
Jelly thongs: SM Dept. Store
Heels: Jeffrey Campbell Replica
Bag: Cose
Bangles: Tomliz
Ring: Tomliz

Hope everyone stays fresh and young as possible!
Ciao!
