Spring during Winter

No it isn't winter already. So are you saying Imma delete this blog post?
Kidding! This post was taken last December where dark hues should dominate and here I am violating it. *wink

Well there's nothing to worry because to begin with, Philippines never encounters any snow so that makes my florals excused. Isn't it?
Floral pants are indeed a refreshing substitute cutie Sunday dress!

Blaming my fat legs, I declare pants as my bestfriend since it satisfies my greatest desire to look taller giving an illusion of longer and slimmier legs. Thank God the skinny jean trends again in my teenage years that I was always dwarfed by the boot cut and oversized pants!

Luckily my pants perfectly matched my floral wedges too!
Giving a plus for that!

Festive

Photos by: Gab Cadena

You've read it right. These photos were from Gab and don't panic. We're just friends. Haha

These photos were taken last August. See? I have loads of backlogs and pardon me for rarely updating my site because of school stuff.

But now that it's sembreak, I'll finally have time to publish what it needs to be done.

One of the highlights of your entire year in Ateneo was these days, the Ateneo College Fiesta. I won't define the event by details anymore but for fashionistas, this serves as a phenomenon; NO DRESS CODES!

For me, those will be the days that I will really prepare! Think of it as once in a school year event where you can dress up freely without thinking of the guards blocking your way. This year, I decided to go floral with my handsewn highwaist shorts. Surely, it satisfied my soul upon itching to wear this inside the school. Here are some photos during the 2-day event:

Some photos were grabbed. Thank you!

And oh, just to let you know we won the second runner up in the Sayawtenista dance contest, one event that made me even busier.

Spleeting Spring

Photos by: Gab Cadena

I know you won't believe it but YES, I'm proud to say I wore this in school. But don't fret, I wore cover cardigans of course.
Pardon me for the late posts because I wore this outfit last month! Sorry for the late use of trends. Anyway, I bet Spring wasn't that
unpleasant as it's used to be even if I'll be posting it like forever, right? For me, florals are statement. I think there is something
in florals that makes it last forever - its scent. Kidding!

I will forever be in love with florals since without them, my style would be nothing and I thank God for them because they bring out the girl in me.
So much for the flowery talk, would you believe that this is another lazy and one of my "unprepared" outfits? There was just these days when I felt like
I'm lucky enough to find a perfect outfit that perfectly matches your footwear as well and the addition of the ruffles were just complementing!
Since I have started to make a statement piece with this look, I think it's better if I'll wrap myself with florals from head to toe, wouldn't that be any prettier?

Streets of Spring

Photos by: Gab Cadena

Another summer class outfit. Again, I am really sorry for the super late posts. My drafts are piling up! I promise to stay updated as soon as my laptop is in my arms already. Right now, he's going under operation :(

Most probably you're wondering how the hell again I've entered the gates of Ateneo with this revealing attire? I wore this during the last day of our summer class and when I say summer class, I think you already knew what I mean; less strict dress codes. So I decided to wore this while I still can.

I just love this dress because of the lace details that matched the floral print of its skirt. However as a contrary, this dress is not wearable especially for school. Unless you can handle mischievous stares with the people around the campus, then go. But thank God for my long and curly hair for the instant cover up!

Floral Overload

Photos by: Gab Cadena

Much away with the manly posts, I'm going back to my own style again -girly.
I know you've noticed my turtleneck top being repeated but I guess it's the perfect top of the moment pairing my floral headband, floral skirt and floral wedges. Oh, reduduncy of the word Floral. Haha!
I can really feel the spring vibes with my outfit!
At least, since we don't have spring season in our country :(

You can never go wrong with wedges. You can pair it with pretty everything, may it be with shorts, skirt or pants. It really goes with anything.
This time, my wedges played a role of adding another sweetness to my outfit.
Not just because of its heels but because of its style that makes it girly.

I stick to one theme: flowers. Hence, my accessories.
And with my background too!
Good thing the guards were not staring again!
